It's a tight squeeze. I haven't accomplished this task without dropping the tank, but if I had to do it with tank in car, I would use long hose lengths and a drop or two of oil to help the hose slide onto the hard lines - don't forget to add your clamps first. The longer hose length will help you twist and push the hose on without having your fingers crammed in the tight space. Then cut the hoses to the proper length, lube them up and slide them onto the fuel pump lines.
